BiasClear Privacy Policy
BiasClear is a small, founder-operated service. This page explains what we collect on biasclear.com, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
What We Collect
- Beta signup email addresses when you request API access.
- Scan request content only for the purpose of generating a scan result.
- Operational metadata such as timestamps, request identifiers, scan mode, and provider status.
What We Store
- Beta signup emails are stored in a dedicated operational database so we can reply to access requests.
- BiasClear's audit log stores scan metadata, score details, and privacy-safer signup metadata such as masked email and SHA-256 email hash.
- The public health and stats endpoints expose service-level telemetry, not raw scan text.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not place secrets or private credentials in source code.
- We do not publish raw beta-signup email addresses in public audit responses.
How We Use Information
- To respond to beta access requests.
- To operate the live scan service and monitor reliability.
- To improve detection quality, stability, and documentation.
Retention and Deletion
Beta signup emails are retained for access management and outreach related to BiasClear. If you want your email removed, contact brad@biasclear.com.
